I do either a matcha or chai collagen oat latte every day, instead of coffee during my pregnancy and while breastfeeding for a more natural energy kick. I still limit it to 1 cup/day.
Yes it's safe during both stages, but always consult with YOUR doctor if you have concerns.
Here are the benefits, what mix I use and how I make it.
MATCHA Matcha contains L-Theanine, a natural calming agent that works with the caffeine to provide what's described as a calm, focused and happy energy.
It's also said to have 10 times the antioxidants of a cup of regular green tea, which helps control blood sugar and cholesterol levels and can even boost your metabolism.
I use this matcha powder that also has collagen in it.
Collagen helps with postaprtum hair loss prevention & regrowth (which is why I love to take it during pregnancy too, to prevent), it also helps our skin stretch nicely (perfect during pregnancy) as well as have strong nails & hair, and glowing skin.
I love to do it with OAT milk, here's how:
I add a oat milk in this forther + 1 scoop of the matcha collagen and mix it cold or hot (depends if I want it warm or iced)
If I want it warm I pour it on a cup + drink it as is! If I want it cold I pour it over ice + top it off with more cold oat!
CHAI
The Indian spices contained in traditional chai teas help facilitate energy production within the body. They are a natural and healthy stimulant.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding remember that keeping hydrated is key, and any caffeine (coffee or teas) will dehydrate you. So up your water intake or add electrolytes to compensate. you can shop mine here with a 15% off using code LAURAGIMBER.
