How To Ride "Big Attractions" With Babies/Toddlers At Disneyland

Of course, us parents also want to get some big rides in. There are a few options on how to do this.

1. SINGLE RIDER. There are specific rides that offer single-rider option. If you are riding alone, you go to this line. You basically fill in the gaps, fill an empty seat whenever a single spot opens up on an attraction. Which pretty much makes you skip all lines.

Single Rider available at these attractions in Disneyland

Indiana Jones Adventure

Matterhorn Bobsleds

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Space Mountain

Splash Mountain

Star Tours - The Adventure Continues

Single Rider available at these attractions in California Adventure

Gruzzly River Run

Incredicoaster

Goofy's Sky School

Radiator Springs Racer (CARS)

2. RIDER SWAP. You go to a big attraction line, scans the ticket at the beginning, and waits in line like everyone else. Once you exit, you give your ticket to your partner and they can skip the whole line! This way, one of you is always outside with the kid/kids.

Rider Swap is available at these attractions in Disneyland:

Autopia (Tomorrowland)

Big Thunder Mountain (Frontierland)

Gadget’s Go Coaster (Toontown)

Indiana Jones (Adventureland)

Matterhorn (Fantasyland)

Space Mountain (Tomorrowland)

Splash Mountain (Critter Country)

Star Tours (Tomorrowland)

Rider Swap is available at these attractions in California Adventure:

Incredicoaster (Pixar Pier)

Goofy’s Sky Skool (Paradise Pier)

Grizzly River Run (Grizzly Peak)

Radiator Springs Racers (Cars Land)

Silly Symphony Swings – tandem or single (Paradise Pier)

Soarin’ Around the World (Grizzly Peak)

Guardians of the Galaxy (Hollywood Land)

We usually do this when she naps, or if there's a small little attraction one of us can ride with her while the other does the line with partner switch. We always ride so much!
