In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, I am sharing some education on how to:
WBW is not about diminishing other ways of feeding or shaming others for not nursing. It is instead, about raising awareness and share informative content that can HELP breastfeeding mothers have a more successful and enjoyable journey. Because unfortunately, globally, less than 50% of all babies are breastfeed exclusively for six months and less than 50% of those continue to breastfeed up to 2 years, what's recommended. And a majority of them stop before they would've liked to, due to a lack of help, education, support and our current lifestyles and life expectations. Breastfeeding moms, simply need more: More education from within and around us More help and support More breastfeeding friendly work environments More breastfeeding friendly communities
Some here are some helpful insights on how to prepare ahead of time, how to get help through it, and how to help a nursing mama!
