Cozy season is back and it’s time to bundle and lean into the fall by baking comforting recipes and enjoying snuggle family moments.
This incredible healthy & simple apple cinnamon pancake recipe is perfect for the whole fam, for breakfast, snack, or as a night treat.
INGREDIENTS:
¾ cup unsweetened applesauce
2 eggs
¼ cup dairy milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1 ½ cups old fashioned rolled oats (gf optional)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon allspice
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
STEP 1:
Add all ingredients to a blender, blend on high until smooth. If it’s too thick, add more milk!
STEP 2:
Slightly coat the griddle with coconut oil and once hot, cook each pancake.
This makes 4 big pancakes, or 6 small ones.
It’s so easy & quick, and the kids can totally help, which they love to do!
I like to serve it with applesauce or mixed berries on the side, sprinkle some cinnamon or pour some pure maple syrup on top, and pair it with a glass of milk.
