I already did the Disneyland Baby & Toddler Approved Rides list, so it is now to do the list for the Baby & Toddler Approved Rides at California Adventure!
This park is not as baby/toddler friendly, it is designed for older kids and adults, however, I do think it is less hectic and as incredible and magic to visit with littles. If I had to choose one park with a baby or toddler, I would choose Disneyland, but if you have time, I would do both. Here's why:
1. It is a lot quieter because babies and toddlers tend to choose Disneyland because there are more baby/toddler approved rides and, so rides are much shorter and less of a hassle. So for adults: taking turns at the "big" rides is faster too. And the "little" rides, have overall less crowds as well!
2. The Pixar characters are great for toddlers too. It's a new generation and they don't only love Minnie and Mickey but Buzz,Woody, and Anna & Elsa!
Now let's get to the list
The Disney, Jr. Dance Party is air-conditioned and it’s fun for kids. The colors are bright, the music is upbeat, the actors engage the kids really well, and the characters are easily recognizable. They have a clean bathroom right at the back of the theater, too. BONUS: If you’re nursing, it’s a quiet, cool place to sit and feed your baby.
Golden Zephyr
The Little Mermaid
Pixar Pal-A-Round (non-swinging)
Monsters, Inc.
Red Car Trolley
Trying to find toddler-friendly destinations in general can be challenging to say the least. Disney makes any family travel much easier. Adding on a day or two at Disney can make it memorable for you. I do recommend 2 days at the parks.
