Barcelona Trip Itinerary

During our 2022 trip we escaped to my city, Barcelona for a few days, we took the train from Sitges (station is at the village center) and literally takes 30-40min (depending on the train you get and it’s stops) to get to the heart of the city (Passeig de Gracia).

We stayed at Ohla Barcelona, a five star hotel that will leave you speechless. The location is truly in the heart of the city (10min walk from Passeig de Gràcia station but 3min walk from Pl Catalunya station, if you cine from anywhere else), in the Gothic Quarter, you can walk to so many places. Minutes from Pl Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, La Rambla, La Boqueria, the Cathedral... we even walked down to the beach & back honestly, so easy!

The hotel has design everywhere, in the lobby, the rooms, the staircase. Every corner, every wall, every detail is a masterpiece. It’s stunning. Their service is impeccable and the rooms are so spacious and beautiful.

We got the Superior Junior suite in the 5th floor with incredible views. It was super spacious in an open space that includes a large bath tub and shower. Perfect to recover after a long day. They also have the Suite Dome which is two-story with a terrass. And essential rooms that are smaller, but you can also do two connecting rooms if needed with kids.

And the best part is their rooftop pool, so iconic, out of this world. A little oasis in the middle of the city, facing the Mediterranean, with privileged views. The pool is exclusive for guests, and it was so quiet and empty in the mornings! We had a blast. Perfect to let the kids run and play before getting in the stroller to explore the city.

Breakfast was included with our room and it was phenomenal. A luxurious buffet with everything we needed and more, open until 11:30am which was very helpful with our jet lag schedule.
