Foods week 9
Watermelon: High water content, great next to the couple days of rice too! Easy to eat as is as a finger food.
Pistachio: Potential allergen, give three days with no new foods. DO NOT GIVE AS IS. Ground it and stick to the watermelon or inside yogurt, or make it into a butter and also add in the yogurt.
Chayote Squash: Another type of squash that is considered a cereal. Easy to give steamed as a finger food or as puree.
Bean: Puree or mash it, or give as is. Regular bean.
Asparagus: Cook well and give as is, they wont eat fully but they can chew well. Or, give as puree if you prefer.
* At this point I don't do much puree, only if the food requires it
